Do any of the skips have doors for easy access ?
Only the two smallest size, mini and 3 yard, do not have doors, all the others do.
Availability ?
Usually within 24 hours, often same day if you phone early.
Length of hire ?
Anywhere from one day to three weeks, longer hire only by special arrangement.
Where can the skip be situated ?
Our lorries require 9' width to access and skips can be placed on most firm, level ground, private driveway etc is best option if as placing skips on roads attracts a licence fee imposed by the highways authority. Please remember the lorry has to be able to remove the skip, once full, safely and when it will be much heavier.
If on the road who applies for the licence ?
We will take care of the licence application for you.
Is there a charge for the on road licence ?
The current charge in this area is £65 (no VAT) for a 14 day licence. The local highway authority now require three clear working days notice to arrange a road licence, if less notice is given then they charge an 'early start' fee of an additional £25 making the fee £90 in total.
Who provided lights and cones etc ?
We will provide the necessary lights and cones with the skip but it is the hirers responsibility to ensure they remain in place and working.
How much notice will I need to give ?
We generally ask for just 24 hours notice but can often arrange deliveries within the same working day. Skips will only be removed when requested by the hirer.
Do we recycle ?
Yes, we are very proud of our recycling totals and following much investment in plant and machineryare currently able to divert over 92% of the waste collected away from landfill.

Is our site licenced with the Environment Agency ?
Yes - Authorisation no: EAWML66094
Do we comply with current legislation and provide an audit trail for all waste ?
Yes - each hiring is accompanied by a Duty of Care note and current legislation is complied with.
